What I Experienced on the Trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee

On my summer science trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee, I visited many sites relating to the Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls of the Appalachian chain. Although, the trip was more on the geological topic less that of STEM related, I really experienced something new which also enhanced my knowledge. The adventures began at the Lookout Mountain where we rode an elevator which took me down into the mountain two hundred and sixty feet.

My Weekend

When i checked out of school going home, I was anticipating a great weekend. Because I have been missing things going on at home. I am really bored here besides the learning part. I love the socializing part the most. However some teacher here in the program are very annoying. I try my hardest to stay awoke, especially, in Ms. Washington's class. But the she just constanly annoys me for some strange reason. And this only occurs in the classroom. But over all I enjyed my weekend at home because I was greatful enough to get away from here at the program.

My Daily Activities

To be quite honest, my daily activities at the Summer Science program include eating, going to class, practicing work, studying, and sleeping early. Although I am (in a sense) enjoying myself, I prefer just a little relief from stress so that we may learn and enjoy ourselves. It may seem as if I am ungrateful for being able to participate in this program but I am simply expressing how I feel.

Food!!!

Here at Mississippi Valley State University, all I keep thinking about is food. This summer science program, in which I am currently participating in, provides a free full course meal for us. Unfortunately, we dissatisfies with the food that is provided. At this very moment I will be grateful to eat something so extravagant such as soul food, pizza hut, red lobster, grand buffe', china blossom, garfield's, burger king, or even granger! The food they provide for us does not have any seasoning or a touch of flavor. However, it is very beneficial to our young bodies even though we don't approve. Oh wow, I cant wait to go home and see what good home cooking my mom has prepared for me.

My First C++ Program Experience

Today’s experience was very interesting with the C++ program. I never thought I would execute creating a program. Although Timothy Holston, my computer science instructor, was working with us at a very fast pace I enjoyed the new learning experience. I am looking forward to learning new things in this class that will be very beneficial to my academic future.
